Sections and Cooperating Societies of The American Iris Society, as well as local and regional affiliates hold conventions that will be listed here.
The Spuria Iris Society and the Society for Louisiana Iris will be holding a joint convention in the Dallas, Texas area. The dates are Friday, April 26 to Sunday, April 28, 2024.
Tentative Schedule:
Friday, April 26: During the day there will be a tour of 3 gardens: Barton, Schneider and Patterson. From 6:00 to 9:00 p.m.: Louisiana iris program.
Saturday, April 27: During the day there will be a tour of 2 gardens: Nichols and Reed. From 4 to 6 pm: Spuria program. 6:30 to 9:30 Awards dinner and live auction.
Sunday, April 28: Possible JT for Spuria Iris and/or Louisiana Iris.
Auction items needed. Please contact the officers of the SLI or the Spuria Iris Society if you have any items that can be part of the auction. We will accept iris memorabilia, plants to be shipped in the fall, etc.
