AIS Regions/Local Iris Societies (updated April 8 2008)
The American Iris Society (AIS) is divided into 24 regions within the United States and Canada. Each AIS Region has a number of local AIS affiliated iris societies and clubs.

AIS Regions and AIS RVPs: The listing below shows the 24 AIS regions along with the AIS RVP (Region Vice President) contact for each region Please direct any iris questions you may have to your local area AIS RVP or to a local iris club. These people will be very pleased to help you. Additionally many of the AIS Regions maintain their own websites for their regional area communications.
AIS affiliated iris societies and
clubs: To find a local iris society near you select the region that
corresponds to your area and follow the link to see a list of AIS
affiliated iris societies and clubs.
(note that there are a few iris
clubs which are not affiliated with the AIS and we do not list them
here).
The local RVP in your area or people involved with the local iris society or club
will be very pleased to advise you with your iris interest. The clubs and societies information is
provided as per the 2007 official yearly AIS affiliates listing or as
subsequently updated by the region.
(The onus for providing updated info/additions/corrections for those
listings during the interim until the 2008 listing is available is
dependent on the initiative of the local groups, the local RVP or their
designate)
RVP Reference resource: This is a
reference resource provided for the AIS RVP to use as a guide in
administering AIS duties and activities in their region.
