Electronic Membership (updated February 12 2012)
AIS Electronic Membership: The AIS announces a new membership service - Electronic Membership. AIS Emembership is separate from the normal AIS membership. Emembers do not receive printed copies of the AIS Bulletins. Instead, they have access to online AIS Bulletins using an easy to use viewer. Emembers also have access to online viewing of The Basic Iris Culture booklet and access to irisregister.com, the online database of iris registrations and introductions. Addtitional services may be made available in the future.
You may purchase an AIS Emembership through the AIS Membership information area of the website.
Once you have obtained your AIS Emembership you will be provided with a user name and password to access the special Emembership area content. You need to use these to log on and access the area.

Notes: If you had previously signed up for AIS Emembership either via the AIS PayPal service or by sending a check to the AIS Membership Secretary, you will be given your full subscription time effective starting 12/1/2011.
To view the online publications, users will need the Adobe Flash Player. Many computers already have this installed as it is a standard and common program. If for some reason your computer does not, the Flash Player is free and may be downloaded from the Adobe website: Flash Player download
Irisregister
Irisregister is the online database of iris registrations and introductions maintained by the American Iris Society. Irisregister is now part of AIS Emembership. The AIS is recognized and acknowedged as the official world registry of iris cultivars. AIS Emembers may access Irisregister through the "Emembers Click Here" link to the right that takes you to the main Emembers Services area or alternately by going directly to the Irisregister area: Emembers Services-Irisregister section
In order to access the Emembers Service area where the Irisregister database is now located you will need to use your AIS Emember ID and new password.
Note: Irisregister subscribers current as of 11/29/2011 have been made full AIS Emembers with expiration dates corresponding to the expiration date of their irisregister subscription. If you had an active Irisregister subscription as of 11/29/2011 you will have received an email with your ID and a new password for the AIS Emember service.
