The American Iris Society is a nonprofit institution incorporated February 2, 1927, in the County of Philadelphia, State of Pennsylvania. By the terms of the Charter, the Corporation has no stockholders and exists for the sole purpose of promoting the culture and improvement of the Iris.

2010 Tall Bearded Iris Symposium Ballot (June 2009)
Sixty-ninth Official Tall Bearded Iris Symposium of the American Iris Society. This year the list of iris eligible for the Tall Bearded Symposium is again being bound into the AIS Bulletin. In an effort to make voting as easy as possible, the list is also being made available here on the AIS website. 2009 AIS Awards Ballot (May 2009)
The 2009 AIS awards ballot is now posted on the AIS website for garden use by hybridizers, AIS judges and other interested parties. Please note that this version may not be used for official voting. Only the Official Ballot that was mailed to the AIS Judges may be used for voting. This version may be printed for your convenience in taking it on garden visits and making notes. Contemporary Views by Perry Dyer (March 2009)
The AIS website now has available a collection of Contemporary Views by Perry Dyer of Oklahoma from 1988 to 2008. These are annual articles involving personal observations and commentary on current varieties of irises.

AIS Photo Contest: (February 2009)  The 2008 AIS Photo Contest results have now been presented in the January 2009 AIS Bulletin. They are now available on the AIS website. Previous years contest reports and results plus winning and runner up photographs are also available for your viewing pleasure. Additionally, the 2009 AIS Photo Contest information is provided.

2009 Tall Bearded Iris Symposium: (February 2009)  The results of the 2009 Tall Bearded Iris Symposium ballot, the sixty-eighth official Tall Bearded Iris Symposium of the American Iris Society are now available on the AIS website. Also provided are the results from 2008 and 2007.

AIS 2008 Awards announced: (August 2008) The full listing of 2008 AIS Award winners is available now in the AIS Awards section of the AIS website. This is the final complete awards listing and includes the JI listings.
